Dear NASCIO Members-
I am pleased to announce that AMR has selected Lisa Thompson to serve as the new NASCIO Deputy Director. The Executive Committee was notified several weeks ago that DeLaine Bender was taking an opportunity to become the Executive Director of another AMR association client partner. Because of DeLaine's knowledge and experience with our business processes and to make this transition seamless, I wanted to wait until after our Midyear Conference was complete.
Lisa is a 15 year veteran of the association management industry and has been with AMR for almost two years. Her background includes extensive experience in programs and education, as well as serving as the Marketing Director for a large national association.
Lisa and DeLaine have been working together over the last month or so to transition responsibilities to Lisa. The transition is complete and Lisa is now your Deputy Director contact. She may be reached at lthompson@amrms.com, or at 859-514-9154.
