Many of our member states have been impacted by Hurricane Sandy, especially those in the mid-Atlantic and Northeast regions. This devastating storm has resulted in loss of life, widespread destruction, flooding, millions without power and disruption of services. For some states, the recovery is just starting today and will take weeks. State and corporate members can help each other. The southern gulf states have significant experience in responding to natural disasters caused by storms of this magnitude.
Please use the NASCIO Community as a collaboration tool to ask for assistance or offer assistance. Post to the State CIO, State Members and Corporate member communities and communicate to other NASCIO members. Ask questions and respond to the need. Check frequently for messages because the Community may be experiencing some response latency due to the storm.
