ACA Implementation State Snapshot - (Source: NAMD)
Earlier today, NAMD released a new report, "State Medicaid Snapshot:
Affordable Care Act Implementation." The report is the first in
NAMD's series of periodic updates. The report is based on the progress and
current status of a representative cross-section of states. It describes their
efforts to date to implement the Medicaid program changes called for in the
ACA. It seeks to portray an aggregate experience of states in critical systems
and process reforms in preparation for October 1 and January 1.
