The new identity management system being built in the commonwealth of Virginia takes technology deployed for Medicaid reform, and will allow for the verification of citizens' identities across agencies in a way they couldn’t verify identities before.
This, says CIO Sam Nixon, will not only reduce percentage of Medicaid fraud, but also will reduce cost and increase efficiency.
