What Are Your "Go-To" Resources for Procurement?

By Chad Grant posted Jan 18,2012 03:20 PM

From procurement guidance to baseball stats, everyone has a "go-to" source when they need helpful insight and pertinent information. As the State IT Procurement Modernization Committee collectively begins to gather, catalog and discuss content for the NASCIO Community, we would also like to provide a way to amass resources that our members will find valuable.

Procurement Modernization Committee "Blog"-
The "Blog" section should be used for posting websites, events, articles and any other resources you find valuable to share.

Procurement Modernization Committee "Latest Shared Files"-
The goal is to keep the content in the "Latest Shared Files" section tagged with keywords, so it is easily searchable, and limited to documents that are considered best practices for procurement or highlight improved processes and outcomes.

Below you will find just a few resources that I find to be a homerun:

NASCIO - State IT Procurement Modernization Committee

http://www.nascio.org/committees/ProcurementModernization/

Tech America – State Procurement Committee

http://www.techamerica.org/ps-stateprocurement

NASPO – Guide to IT Procurement

http://www.naspo.org/content.cfm/id/it_guide

American Bar Association – Section of Public Contract Law

Remember, if you post it, they will come.... or at least that worked in the movie Field of Dreams.

Best regards,
Chad
